“ | I don't have a sister!! It's a Christmas miracle!! | ” |
— Logan
|
Merry Miss Sis is the Season 1 finale of the series I Didn't Do It.
Overview
Logan gets annoyed by Lindy's over obsession with Christmas, leading him to wish he never had a sister. A special angel grants his wish and shows Logan how different his family and friends would be if Lindy wasn't around.[1][2]
Story
Logan and Lindy fight another time about Lindy's Christmas traditions - like wearing sweaters and the Christmas tree. One plumber wearing white enters the house and Logan furiously wishes that he and Lindy were never twins. The man in white grants his wish.
In this new life without Lindy, Logan's parents are extremely irresponsible. Delia's a cheerleader - but, in the old life, she hated them. Jasmine's a bad girl, since, without Lindy, she hasn't had an influence to not walk with bad boys, and Garrett is a filthy guy.
Lindy now doesn't know anyone, and she dropped out of school. Logan then invites her for 100 dollars to his Christmas party, but his parents don't know - since Logan never showed interest in Christmas, neither did they. Lindy arrives with Jasmine, Garrett and Delia, who start to leave the boring party.
The Christmas tree falls on Logan again and, this time, he wakes up in his old life. Logan is happy and hugs Lindy, leaving her thinking that he's crazy.
In the end, they all - their parents, Lindy, Logan and their friends - sing Silent Night while Lindy plays the piano and accidentally wishes that Logan doesn't have a voice in front of the "angel" plumber.

Trivia
- This is the first and only Christmas episode of the show, it is also the Season 1 finale.
- This was the second holiday themed episode, the first being Next of Pumpkin, and the third being Bite Club.
- This episode wasn't really a huge season finale.
- This was like the iCarly episode, "iChristmas", because Carly wished Spencer was born normal and saw what life would be like if he was and in this episode, Logan wished he never had a sister and saw what his life would be like without Lindy. Both episodes are also parodies of the film "It's a Wonderful Life" where the main character has a look at what life would be like if he wasn't born and it is similar to the Boy Meets World episode "A Very Topanga Christmas" and the Thundermans episode "Winter Thunderland" and the Suite Life on Deck episode "A London Carol."
- This episode is also similar to the Hannah Montana episode "When You Wish You Were the Star" where Miley makes a wish and she wasn’t friends with Lilly and Oliver but regretted after what she saw and That 70s Show episode “It’s a Wonderful Life” where Eric made a wish but regretted after what he saw and the Kickin’ It episode "You Don’t Know Jack" where Jerry made a wish but regretted after what he saw.
- This episode also has a few things in common to the Sesame Street special, Elmo Saves Christmas:
- Both episodes are focused on a wish.
- One of the main characters makes the wish.
- Elmo had Lightning the reindeer to show him about his "Christmas every day" wish and Logan had Angel Santos to show him about his "no Lindy" wish.
- Both Logan and Elmo soon realize that their wishes were not such a great idea.
- A scene that happened at the beginning of each episode was shown again towards the end when everything goes back to normal. (Elmo pulling Santa out of the chimney, and Logan waking up after the tree falls right on top of him)
- The episodes teach viewers to be careful what you wish for.
- Each episode ends with the main character celebrating Christmas with his friends and family.
- This episode also has a few things in common to the Sesame Street special, Elmo Saves Christmas:
- This was the last episode to air in 2014.
- This is the first and only time Lindy and Logan sing on the show.
- Bob and Nora say "Bah, humbug!", when Logan talks about their Christmas traditions, quoting Ebeneezer Scrooge, from A Christmas carol.
- This episode aired on December 9th in the UK, only two days after the US.
- This is the last appearances of Nora and Bob Watson.
- This is the first episode that really focuses on Lindy and Logan's relationship, the second being Lindy & Logan Get Psyched!, in Season 2.
- The cast filmed this episode on March 18th, 2014.[3]
- The title is clearly a pun on the saying, "Merry Christmas".
